"Earth Charter Israel wants to highlight the Earth Charter because so many of us have been used it and become global citizens. Embedding its principles in our lives has transformed lives in Israel in many ways. Through our Earth Charter Dialogue Skills program, through the monthly discussions we have in Jerusalem, the environmental awareness activities of young activists, and through the community building activities we do in the greater Tel Aviv area. So in January we want to focus on the many ways to use the principles in the Earth Charter.

We hope you will join in our discussions by sharing your own experience with the Earth Charter, how you use it, what benefits you gained, and if you know nothing about the EC, ask questions and find out! The Earth Charter Initiative is a worldwide movement and becoming aware of its value and development in itself will help you become a better global citizen. And, the more we can see our connection with the rest of the world, the more our own problems take on a different perspective, and the more the court of public opinion moves in the direction of cooperation. There are many ways we all help the world and now this is a time to celebrate the help of everyone!"
