Susan Copen Oken, a documentary photojournalist whose work has appeared in Life Magazine, Sports Illustrated and a variety of books (including the 1986 bestseller "A Day in the Life of America"), will help us prepare. Over the next six weeks she will help provide ideas, exercises, and tips on the event website at http://www.onedayinthelife.org as well as in iEARN's One Day in the Life forum at http://foro.iearn.org/iearnforums/oneday .
When 10 November gets close, we will create some discussion areas in the One Day in the Life forum where students will post their work in the days and weeks that follow the event.

ONE DAY IN THE LIFE PROJECT – ONGOING!
One great way to get involved before (and after) 10 November is to join the ongoing "One Day in the Life" project themes. These have no time constraints – students may document their lives right away, and participate in any of the themed discussions. It's also a great way to prepare for 10 November!
Just recently, students have begin working a variety of daily life themes, including "Mealtime", "Morning Routines", "Where I Live" and other topics. Invite your students to join in! You can choose from the existing themes, or you can create new topics related to daily life to document.
