Goals of the summer school were:
– to extend participants outlook and understanding of Europe – a common space of regional diversification
– to extend outlook and deeper knowledge of foreign Europeans about Belarus – a country, located in geographic center of Europe
– to support exchange of ideas and visions among students of Belarus and EU
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
During the 4 day work, participants of the summer school will have a chance to meet Belarusian and European experts, working in the field of regional policymaking and “policythinking” of Europe. We also hope that participants improve their presentational skills as well as skills to think critically on issues by means of public speaking, various educational games, working groups and seminars. The last day of the summer school was held in Brest, a town with a special history located on crossroads of Europe.
Organizers of the summer school are: Youth International Education Club NEWLINE, Center of German Studies, Center of International Studies, Minsk Educational Center named after I. Rau (IBB); supported by European Institute named by Claus Meneret, Kaliningrad, Russia.
