Конкурс эссе к падению Стены для рождённых в 89-м
Were you born in 1989, the year when the Iron Curtain fell and communism was consigned to "the dustbin of history" (Karl Marx)?
If you are citizen of one of the EBRD's countries of operations and celebrate your 20th birthday in 2009, the EBRD would like you to submit an essay of up to 1,500 words, sharing your thoughts on how life in your country has evolved in the past two decades.

An international panel of prominent writers will select the finalists, and the best essays will appear in a special publication.
Winners will be invited to an award ceremony in London in spring 2010 and the first prize will be an internship at the Financial Times newspaper.
