Dear Inclusion (youth) worker, dear trainer,
Hope you are doing good and that the spring is slowly but surely also arriving to your part of Europe or world!
In this newsletter:
- TC Unemployment – SALTO Inclusion in co-operation with National Agency of YIA in Portugal is organising a training course on how to use YIA programme as a tool to fight unemployment among young people with fewer opportunities. Considering the current economic situation, the issue of youth unemployment definetely requires immediate response and the training aims to reflect upon and find possibilities for that! The training takes place 7-13.06.2009 in Portugal and the call for participant applications is open now until 12.04.2009!
- European E-inclusion Awards 2008 – the competition was run as part of the EU policy framework on information society and media. Among other categories there are also good practices on how digital technologies have been used to support inclusion of marginalised young people.
- Seminar on the Health and Well-being of Young People was organised by the Youth Partnership, the Ministry of Health, Youth, Sports and Voluntary Organisations, in the framework of the French Presidency of the EU, in cooperation with the European Commission,European Youth Forum and the two French Youth Councils in December 2008. Have a look at main conclusions.
And, did you know you can also send us YOUR inclusion news and requests to be published in the SALTO Inclusion newsletter? Please send them to inclusion@salto-youth.net
