"OUR BELARUS : WATER FOR LIFE "
On March 20, 2008, on the World day of clean water
(World Water Day 2008 on Sanitation)
Youth International Educational Club "NEWLINE" (Transformation of Humanities Association) together with iEARN-Belarus (International Education and Resource Network in Belarus) within the framework of a Decade of the United Nations «Water For Life» are holding interactive Internet - Game "OUR BELARUS : WATER FOR LIFE"
The purpose of this game is granting to young Belarusians (school and university students and pedagogues) opportunities to reflect about extreme importance of water for health of environment and sustainable development of society, to join activity of youth cooperation network «Youth and Water»,
Participants of the game will reflect on place and role of clean water in our life, about ways of deepening public understanding of problems in maintenance with qualitative water for life of present and future generations, about the opportunities in improvement of environment, and also - in organization of interaction among neighbors and other partners in resolution of problems in clarification and preservation of water resources in Belarus and the planet.
Internet - Game "OUR BELARUS : WATER FOR LIFE " will take place
On March 20, 2008 from 12.00 to 15.00 (GMT+2)
(11.00 - 14.00 Poland, Baltic, Czech; 13.00 - 16.00 Moscow)
To participate in the game you should send the registration form attached below till March 19, 2008, 8 pm. to the following addresses: newlineclub@gmail.com, yiecnewline@tut.by, yiecnewline@gmail.com (the provisional form of the application - see. The appendix)
The Internet - Game welcomes both group and individual participation
- Participants of the game can be teams of various educational institutions, public organizations and associations,
- Individual participants,
who have access to email and are able to be connect to the Internet on March 20, 2008 from 12.00 to 15.00 Minsk time to receive game tasks, work together on composing answers and send their electronic versions to us. Participation in the game assumes carrying out mini-researches: formulation of hypotheses and their approval or denial, using any available sources of the information (the Internet, books, friends and family, etc).
The age of participants is not limited: organizers of the game are ready to develop a package of tasks for teams of different age groups (age should be specified in the registration application of participants).
All teams, players and their advisers will receive
Certificates of participation in the Interactive Internet - Game "WATER FOR LIFE ", as well as receive a chance to take part in work of master-class organized by representatives of the game jury.

1. Name of team, name and age of each participant, names of adult mentors / a name and age of individual participants,
2. Name of educational institution (organization) / a place of study,
3. E-mail address to be used before, during and after the game,
4. Postal address for certificates delivery.
The order of carrying out of game (on March, 20, 2008):
- At 12.00 tasks of Internet - game «OUR BELARUS» (www.newlineclub.net/ourbelarus, www.iearn4u.com/ourbelarus <http://www.iearn4u.com/ourbelarus>) will be simultaneously sent out to all registered participants of game to specified by them in the applications to electronic addresses.
- Using all accessible sources of information, participants conduct their researches to the tasks of the game, which attract them most and which they will manage to answer within the game’s limited time (participants of the game define order of performance of tasks and their amount independently).
- By 15.00 electronic variants of the game’s tasks should be sent to electronic addresses of organizers of game (newlineclub@gmail.com <mailto:newlineclub@gmail.com>, yiecnewline@tut.by, yiecnewline@gmail.com).
*Organizer games reserve the right to publish on the game’s website variants of answers conducted by participants of the game
